First I'd like to say that although I photomanipulated this photograph, the girl was fine as she was naturally. I just brought out the beauty she already had.
This was a stock photo that looked like a challenging photomanipulation.
I like what you have done with this one, and yes you were right she was just fine as is. I like the adjustment to the lips, making them fuller and the reduction in the bridge of the nose. The addition to the eyelashes was a nice touch as well. I also like how you reduced the beginnings of the double chin to make her have a slimmer appearance. Over all you did an excellent job on this one, and you should be proud of your work. I would have maybe added some eyeshadow and blush to give her a more glamorous look.
Hmm just patience and constant observation I suppose. Do something... pause... look at the overall photo and continue and repeat. I think if you try and do it all piece by piece without looking at the entire photo the results may not be what you were expecting. You always have to look at the picture as a whole... so if you are fixing lips for instance... make sure to look at the entire face when you fix them, not just the lips alone. That's about all the advice I can give you. Hope it helps.
